Konflykt

KAHA scenkonst

Two clowns meet by coincidence. Instead of becoming friends, they are consumed by a conflict. With humor and seriousness, KAHA scenkonst shows what happens when your own sense of security comes at the expense of others.

KAHA scenkonst create theatrical pieces within clown, circus, and theater. In the performance Konflykt, two clowns meet by coincidence. They have stopped to spend the night, but instead of sleeping, they get stuck in an escalating conflict. With seriousness and lots of humor, the breeding grounds of war are explored. What happens when your own sense of security comes at the expense of others?

KAHA scenkonst consists of Kajsa Englund and Baha Swidan, who met in 2011 at the Masters “A Year of Physical Comedy” – a collaboration of Stockholm University of the Arts and Clowns without Borders. Baha is a clown, circus artist, hospital clown, and educator. He has an education in circus pedagogy and is involved in projects such as Clownmedicin, Dotterbolaget, and Clownklubben. Kajsa is a performance artist, actress, clown, and educator. She was educated at the Jaques Lecoq school in Paris.
